Miracle

I decided to join in the challenge of five minute friday by The Gypsy mama to write for five minutes about : If I knew I could, I would...... do a miracle. I would instantly let the hair of my oldest daughter grow back on every bald spot. But I know that our Lord aleady has started His healing process in her. When my 6 year old was one year, she started to get a spot on her scalp where there was no hair. Gradually her hair became less and less untill when she was three, she only had a tiny bit of hair in the middle of her head. She also had no eye lashes or eye brows. The doctors couldn't find what was wrong with her. They couldn't confirm that it was alopecia. They advised us to look for an alternative healing. And being christians ofcourse we put our trust on Jesus Christ and He healed her. Her eye lashes and eye brows are now back and there is hair at the back and we believe that He will complete His work. Stop Yeah, so this was only a try.It wasn;t easy...

Easter

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. He is risen ! Happy Easter all. I hope everyone had a nice first Easter. I had a very nice day with my family. We all went to church where there was a special service with a part where someone played the devil. It was about what the devil must've thought on Saturday , the day after Jesus died and there was a link made with our time. When you're feeling lost and desperate like the disciples must've felt, the devil things that he has won and keeps telling you lies. And then....it was Sunday....Jesus rose from the death. Halleluyah! The devil is defeated and those who believe in Jesus and accept Him as their Saviour are saved and no longer have to live in despair and believe in the lies of the devil..We are freed from the lies of the devil by the sacrifice from Jesus on the cross. Glory to His name ...

New addition

So it's been some time since I wrote in my blog. We're a year further and my baby is one now going on two in two months and my big girl is 6. We've been blessed with an addition to the family: a new baby girl who's name is Nevaeh-Divine. I'm still on maternity leave at the moment but I'm not quite sure when I will go back to work or whether I will go back at all so for now I'm a SAHM again. I'm enjoying this a lot although there have been some challenging times mainly because it's not always easy to take care of two children under two. It's also a challenge in a positive way to be a housewife and fulltime mom. It’s really teaching me a lot. Patience, flexibility, creativity. I’m learning not to freak out when things don’t go as planned and to overcome and cope with difficult situations. I’ve learned that the difficult times won’t last forever. For instance when they all cry at the same time, there will always be another moment where the...

Home shopping.

As you probably know I currently have a home shopping business. I haven't had much time to do much Avon stuff lately, though. I really have to find a way to manage my time better. Sigh... But I still like to offer customers the possibility to shop from their homes. Some customers are so enthusiastic and they're so friendly and invite you in their house. Meeting all those different women and becoming kind of friends with them is the nicest thing of the job. Ofcourse it's also nice to earn something from it but until now the earnings haven't been so much that I would be able to quit my job lol Actually it's far from that.Anyway, somehow I still like it. Hubby and I like the products as well, so we order for ourselves as well. I hope to be able to do Avon parties soon. I've collected a few products already which people than will be able to try out. I wonder how it will go. I really find it so interesting that people are gladly willing to shop from their homes...

A week with the kids

This week Dd 1 had another school break so instead of paying a child minder for 4 whole days I decided to take annual leave. I still had 8 days to take before the end of March so I had to start taking some days off anyway. I just got an important new task at my work so for that reason I was a bit sorry to take so many days off but my task got covered by my BackUp and I was just really thrilled to be a week off and to be able to spend so much time with the kids again.Yay ! I was really finding it hard that I couldn't see the baby so often so I really needed this week. And I really enjoyed my week off ! Glory to God ! I only took the baby to the creche on Wednesday and Friday afternoon so it won't be strange for her when she has to go back for 4 whole days next week. I'm really not looking forward to next week but yeah, we'll be okay, I guess. I didn't get to do many fun things with them, unfortunately. I only took Dd1 to the playground one day, together with a ...

Working mum

So I started work on the 11 th last month and am starting to get used to it a little bit.Although I still wish that it was possible for me to work less or to work from home. The baby is still so small.(almost 8 months now) and I just wish I could take care of her more. Now I have to do with one day parental leave per week. Well, I'm grateful that I have at least that extra day. And ofcourse I was looking forward a lot -literally counting the days lol-to my first payment. Yay !That was nice ,but with having to pay the rent and other bills and the child minder and so on, it was all gone pretty quickly. I just got myself a 'modern mum' magazine and just lots of food etc and two skirts from sales for the baby and a toy for dd1.And a 3 euro blouse for church. But hubby got me a nice coat, which I only wore to church because it's too cold to wear it when I need to take the bus home from work. So today is my weekly day off. Dd1 is off from school so we all got to sleep late ...

Returning to work

Then, finally a dry day again. Praise God! These last weeks/days have certainly been a challenge and the weather has had a huge part in it. No, luckily no floods and all. But it hasn’t been much joy to walk in the rain (and strong winds) on several occasions. I haven’t got a hood on my coat nor a hat or something like that so my hair got more ruined every time. But my kids were dry, thanks to a double buggy that I purchased from someone from the website Magicmum Yay ! I still feel totally blessed for having the possibility to spend more time with my kids, in spite of the fact that life got so much busier and all. I actually really embraced my new role. But I really went from thinking, ‘I’m happy to be a SAHM ‘ to I thinking ‘I’m ready now to go back to work’. lol But this has nothing to do with the kids. At least, it has a little bit, but in a different way than you would think. I want to be able to earn money again so I can buy things for them, at least to be able to spend more of the...
