Beauty Always

It's five minute froday again. Here's another try. We're writing about beauty.

Go
She was born with beautiful skin, a beautiful creation by God. But she must’ve been two/three months old when her skin started to change. She cried and scratched her face. We put her tiny hands in socks. It was heart breaking to see her cry. Nothing we could do.
Now 6 years later, we’ve passed the nights of waking up crying and scratching. She has used so many creams that her skin has become thin because of it.
And lately her skin is getting worse. We’re considering to relocate so she can have better medical care.
Her skin might still be in poor health but her beauty inside will always remain and one day I’m sure God will give her a beautiful skin again because there is nothing that He cannot do !
Stop

Yesterday I talked to my mother on skype. She said that she was worried about Ixora but that we need to keep believing and yes we will.
Gods grace is sufficient. It’s all in His hands and there’s nothing that He cannot do.
She loves princesses, tiara’s and beautiful princess dresses and to us she will always be our little princess.
Good skin or not.

(Ixora last Christmas)

Love you Ixora. May God bless you and heal you completely from every allergy, every eczema, every skin problem in Jesus' name. And may your hair continue to grow and may your life and your story glorify the name of God. Because you were created to glorify His Name !

Join me and others and write for five minutes and link back to The Gypsy Mama

Mummy, I need your 'pookie'

It’s World Breastfeeding Week from August 1st to August 7th 2013 and this year’s theme is Breastfeeding Support: Close to Mothers. You can read more about it on http://worldbreastfeedingweek.org . The focus is on community support, particularly in the form of peer-to-peer support. To show support for World Breastfeeding Week, the Irish Parenting Bloggers group is holding a blog march about varied breastfeeding experiences, including experiences with breastfeeding support in Ireland. This inspired me to write a post about breastfeeding as well. My breast feeding journey When I was pregnant with my first child, I decided that it would be a great idea to combine breast- and bottle feeding. But in the hospital they convinced me how healthy and important it was to breastfeed exclusively and then I decided to go that road. I got a breast pump to express milk so my baby could get a bottle with breast milk when I was out and about or for the scarce times that I would leave her...

An interview with ' moi'. Ask Away Friday with Meg from The Patchwork Paisley.

One of my favourite bloggers and my new blog friend Meg, asked me to participate in this new link up called Asked Away Friday hosted by Penny from The Real Housewife of Caroline County . Ask Away Friday is a swap of questions between two bloggers with the purpose to feature another blogger on your blog and to get to know each other better by asking and answering questions. I’m thrilled to be doing this with Meg. Meg is a mom of two, an art teacher, and she has an amazing blog which I know you will love as well. She is very talented and creative and loves DIY which you will notice if you visit her blog. To see the questions that I asked her and her answers, go to her blog The Patchwork Paisley . Below are the answers to the questions that she sent me.  1. What are 3 adjectives you would use to describe yourself?   This is hard. Friendly, honest, caring. 2. If you could travel back in time and live in a different era, where would you go? ...

Leopard print, hot pink and sparkles. Mini Lipsy giveaway. (closed)

As you perhaps could tell from my last post, I love animal print but mostly leopard print. I'm always excited when I find something in leopard print. I also love hot pink and sparkles. So I love finding items with one of these three things on them. I was thrilled to find the top that I was wearing today on a carboot sale for 1 euro. It has all three things in it, even though the sparkles are hard to see on these pictures. I'm wearing it with a denim skirt and black shiny (leather look) leggings That's also why I'm still in love with the Lipsy bag I bought last year, which has all three combined in one bag.  I actually exchanged my bag with a new one that I bought as a spare because I loved the bag so much. The old one still needs to go in the washing machine but for now I 'm enjoying the new one. It a comes with a purse which is also in leopard print and pink but it misses the sparkles. I have a new purse as well to replace my purse but...
