Sunday Social: Movies

I thought it would be fun to do a fun post and join in with the Sunday Social questions today.

So here it goes.

1 What is your favorite movie of all time?

A walk to remember.

I love how he changes because of her. And I love it how he shows his love for her by giving her the things that she wanted most.

I 'm  also a big fan of Nicholas Sparks.

2  What is your favorite movie quote?

Dearest Cecilia, the story can resume. The one I had been planning on that evening walk. I can become again the man who once crossed the surrey park at dusk, in my best suit, swaggering on the promise of life. The man who, with the clarity of passion, made love to you in the library. The story can resume. I will return. Find you, love you, marry you and live without shame

 From Atonement.

3. What is the best movie to watch for a girls night in?

I really love to watch chick flicks and I like a lot of them.
A good one would be a romantic one with a cute guy in it.

There are a lot to choose from but I’m going for ‘10 things I hate about you.’

4. What is the best breakup movie?

The Break Up. I love movies with happy endings and I love that they get back together after all.

But I  actually love the Wedding planner too.

They break up before they're even really together and it seems to be impossible for them to ever get together but in the end they still do. Love it !

5. Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?

Definitely Lauren London or Halle Berry, even though I don’t know if they look like me.

Or even Zoe Saldana

6. Which movie star’s closet would you want to raid?
Halle Berry.

I don’t follow a lot of fashion from celebs so I had to google a bit and I found out that I actually love the style of Halle Berry even though I wouldn’t wear everything she wears.
She seems to wear a lot of dark casual tops as well like I do and I love her leather jackets but some of her dresses are a bit too revealing for me. But then again I have less to reveal than her. LOL

Have a good and blessed Sunday !

 Love and blessings,

Mummy, I need your 'pookie'

It’s World Breastfeeding Week from August 1st to August 7th 2013 and this year’s theme is Breastfeeding Support: Close to Mothers. You can read more about it on http://worldbreastfeedingweek.org . The focus is on community support, particularly in the form of peer-to-peer support. To show support for World Breastfeeding Week, the Irish Parenting Bloggers group is holding a blog march about varied breastfeeding experiences, including experiences with breastfeeding support in Ireland. This inspired me to write a post about breastfeeding as well. My breast feeding journey When I was pregnant with my first child, I decided that it would be a great idea to combine breast- and bottle feeding. But in the hospital they convinced me how healthy and important it was to breastfeed exclusively and then I decided to go that road. I got a breast pump to express milk so my baby could get a bottle with breast milk when I was out and about or for the scarce times that I would leave her...

An interview with ' moi'. Ask Away Friday with Meg from The Patchwork Paisley.

One of my favourite bloggers and my new blog friend Meg, asked me to participate in this new link up called Asked Away Friday hosted by Penny from The Real Housewife of Caroline County . Ask Away Friday is a swap of questions between two bloggers with the purpose to feature another blogger on your blog and to get to know each other better by asking and answering questions. I’m thrilled to be doing this with Meg. Meg is a mom of two, an art teacher, and she has an amazing blog which I know you will love as well. She is very talented and creative and loves DIY which you will notice if you visit her blog. To see the questions that I asked her and her answers, go to her blog The Patchwork Paisley . Below are the answers to the questions that she sent me.  1. What are 3 adjectives you would use to describe yourself?   This is hard. Friendly, honest, caring. 2. If you could travel back in time and live in a different era, where would you go? ...

Leopard print, hot pink and sparkles. Mini Lipsy giveaway. (closed)

As you perhaps could tell from my last post, I love animal print but mostly leopard print. I'm always excited when I find something in leopard print. I also love hot pink and sparkles. So I love finding items with one of these three things on them. I was thrilled to find the top that I was wearing today on a carboot sale for 1 euro. It has all three things in it, even though the sparkles are hard to see on these pictures. I'm wearing it with a denim skirt and black shiny (leather look) leggings That's also why I'm still in love with the Lipsy bag I bought last year, which has all three combined in one bag.  I actually exchanged my bag with a new one that I bought as a spare because I loved the bag so much. The old one still needs to go in the washing machine but for now I 'm enjoying the new one. It a comes with a purse which is also in leopard print and pink but it misses the sparkles. I have a new purse as well to replace my purse but...
