The present of life

It 's Friday again and that means that it's time for another Five minute Friday post.

Today we are writing about : Present

Go

I love presents. Apparently, receiving gifts is one of the 5 love languages and I must say that what I love about it is that it makes you feel special, loved.
So I guess I can agree that it is a love language. It’s nice and loving that someone thought about you and wanted to give you something. In that way they show that they care about you, appreciate you, that you mean something to them.

It makes me think about the presents that God gives. The God Who loves us so much that He gave His only Son to us , to die on the Cross for us, so that we can be saved and live eternally (go to heaven) .
A God Who is love and gave us the gift of life together with a  plan that we are supposed to follow if we want to be truly happy.
Today as we live our lives let us remember Him Who loves us so much, Who gives so freely of all that we need.
Let us honor Him with our lives, let us live lives of gratitude and let us pour out our lives for those in need. Let’s choose a life that glorifies Him !

Stop

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

Hi Chan! I just found out one of my co-worker's love language is receiving gifts. Gift giving is such a sweet thing for the giver and the receiver!

An interview with ' moi'. Ask Away Friday with Meg from The Patchwork Paisley.

One of my favourite bloggers and my new blog friend Meg, asked me to participate in this new link up called Asked Away Friday hosted by Penny from The Real Housewife of Caroline County . Ask Away Friday is a swap of questions between two bloggers with the purpose to feature another blogger on your blog and to get to know each other better by asking and answering questions. I’m thrilled to be doing this with Meg. Meg is a mom of two, an art teacher, and she has an amazing blog which I know you will love as well. She is very talented and creative and loves DIY which you will notice if you visit her blog. To see the questions that I asked her and her answers, go to her blog The Patchwork Paisley . Below are the answers to the questions that she sent me.  1. What are 3 adjectives you would use to describe yourself?   This is hard. Friendly, honest, caring. 2. If you could travel back in time and live in a different era, where would you go? ...

Leopard print, hot pink and sparkles. Mini Lipsy giveaway. (closed)

As you perhaps could tell from my last post, I love animal print but mostly leopard print. I'm always excited when I find something in leopard print. I also love hot pink and sparkles. So I love finding items with one of these three things on them. I was thrilled to find the top that I was wearing today on a carboot sale for 1 euro. It has all three things in it, even though the sparkles are hard to see on these pictures. I'm wearing it with a denim skirt and black shiny (leather look) leggings That's also why I'm still in love with the Lipsy bag I bought last year, which has all three combined in one bag.  I actually exchanged my bag with a new one that I bought as a spare because I loved the bag so much. The old one still needs to go in the washing machine but for now I 'm enjoying the new one. It a comes with a purse which is also in leopard print and pink but it misses the sparkles. I have a new purse as well to replace my purse but...

Ask Away Friday with Miriam from Lamanna Family Adventures

Last week I participated in Ask Away Friday hosted by Penny from The Real Housewife of Caroline County.  with Meg from The Patchwork Paisley.  Read it  here . This week I’ve asked Miriam from Lamanna family adventures  to swap questions with me for Ask Away Friday. I’m glad that she said 'Yes'. She has a lovely blog where she writes about the adventures with her kids and also shares great DIY projects. I love to read the stories about her kids and about the different activities that she does with them as this is also what I try to do with my kids. (Talking about that , I still need to make time to do a post about our Summer activities. ) I also love the fact that she takes on a lot of DIY projects. I'm always curious to see what she  has been working on. Miriam is also a frequent visitor to my blog and a top commenter as you can see on the right side bar of my blog. I'm really glad to get to know her better. Meet the lovely Miriam To read the q...
