Home shopping.

As you probably know I currently have a home shopping business. I haven't had much time to do much Avon stuff lately, though. I really have to find a way to manage my time better. Sigh...
But I still like to offer customers the possibility to shop from their homes.
Some customers are so enthusiastic and they're so friendly and invite you in their house. Meeting all those different women and becoming kind of friends with them is the nicest thing of the job.
Ofcourse it's also nice to earn something from it but until now the earnings haven't been so much that I would be able to quit my job lol Actually it's far from that.Anyway, somehow I still like it. Hubby and I like the products as well, so we order for ourselves as well.
I hope to be able to do Avon parties soon. I've collected a few products already which people than will be able to try out. I wonder how it will go.

I really find it so interesting that people are gladly willing to shop from their homes. I'm also one of those people. There's a guy from Kleeneze who brings a catalogue here now and then and we've ordered something every time.
Also to support him but also because there was something interesting in the catalogue, which I wanted to have. The advantage of home shopping is actually that you don't have to leave your home and have to go walking through shops to come across certain products.
This time I ordered sink & plughole unblocker (I hate it when I wash dishes and the sink is filled with water after a few seconds) backs for earrings(I keep losing those things), a thing to remove fuzz from clothes.(those balls and stuff on your clothes are so annoying) and last but not least ,stain free microwave pots.
All, things that we need. I was especially looking forward to the pots for the microwave. We've had some problems with the electrical cooker, so I had to cook in the microwave a lot of the time and was looking for better and bigger bowls to cook in. So this time I couldn't wait for my order to arrive. Last week my order got delivered. We just had paid a bill so we didn't have much cash left for the week but I didn't want the guy to have to wait for his money either. So I took the products but when I checked them later I was a bit disappointed. The pots were much smaller than I thought. Aaaaaaa...
One thing to pay attention to when you're home shopping is that items can look different as when you see them in the catalogue. And I actually had to pay attention to the dimensions before ordering. But luckily, you have a 30 day guarantee for home shopping as well, so I think I'm going to exchange the pots for another product so our Kleeneze guy doesn't have to lose earnings.

So that's a bit of a disadvantage when it comes to this type of home shopping. If I buy something from a shop, I don't mind bringing it back and get a refund.
But in this case I'm a bit reluctant. Even though for 13 euro... I'm afraid that the potties are way too tiny and I don't think I will ever use them.
But on the other hand,I just feel I'm going to be a bit of a bother to my Kleeneze guy .

What would you do ? Do you home shop and what do you do when the product is not what you thought ? Would you stand on your right to return the product ?

They also had these but I didn't get them because they looked kind of small. lol
I like the colours though. They're probably as small as the others.lol

I think I'm going to get something to bake omelettes in, for the microwave.

Hubby will be thrilled because he loves eggs lol
I hope he'll be able to fix the electrical cooker soon, though. If it was working I wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place.lol But for now I just got to find the courage to text my Kleeneze guy and ask for an exchange.

And as for me and home shopping. Lesson learned.

For those who wanted to react but couldn't. It should be easier now. I've changed it a bit.

Mummy, I need your 'pookie'

It’s World Breastfeeding Week from August 1st to August 7th 2013 and this year’s theme is Breastfeeding Support: Close to Mothers. You can read more about it on http://worldbreastfeedingweek.org . The focus is on community support, particularly in the form of peer-to-peer support. To show support for World Breastfeeding Week, the Irish Parenting Bloggers group is holding a blog march about varied breastfeeding experiences, including experiences with breastfeeding support in Ireland. This inspired me to write a post about breastfeeding as well. My breast feeding journey When I was pregnant with my first child, I decided that it would be a great idea to combine breast- and bottle feeding. But in the hospital they convinced me how healthy and important it was to breastfeed exclusively and then I decided to go that road. I got a breast pump to express milk so my baby could get a bottle with breast milk when I was out and about or for the scarce times that I would leave her

Nevaehs Summer Bucket list

Unfortunately, it seems that this year the Autumn weather has started earlier than last year.  And so I finally wanted to write a blog post to share Nevaehs Summer Bucket list with you. This Summer, we mostly stayed in the Netherlands. We only went to Germany to visit Moviepark Germany for two days. At the beginning of the break, the girls entertained themselves by playing games and watching youtube video’s on their tablets and laptop. This bothered me a bit, so one evening I called them all together to sit down and told them to make a bucketlist for the Summer. The first one to finish was allowed to have the last bit of ice cream. Nevaeh can already write a little bit but I told her that she could draw instead. So she made a bucketlist with 10 items on it. The actual bucket list got lost somewhere but we memorized what was on it and I’m glad to say that she has been able to do all the items on it. So here is Nevaehs Summer Bucket List. 1 Go to the playground W
